For over a decade, KEF‘s LS50 series has been the gold standard for audiophile-grade bookshelf speakers. Today, the brand is giving its best-in-class LS50 Meta and LS50 Wireless II a bespoke upgrade with two stunning new finishes: Sand Shell and Moss Green. Both shades are elegant and understated, giving these already iconic speakers a fresh, refined look that will seamlessly integrate into any modern home.
At their core, these speakers are still the same incredible systems we’ve loved for years. They feature KEF’s proprietary Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) to significantly reduce distortion and a Uni-Q driver that houses a 1-inch tweeter inside a 5.25-inch woofer. The passive LS50 Meta gives you the flexibility to build a custom hi-fi system, while the active LS50 Wireless II is a plug-and-play powerhouse with wireless streaming and a range of inputs.
The new Sand Shell and Moss Green finishes are available now for the same price as the other colorways. A pair of the passive LS50 Meta costs $1,600, while the active LS50 Wireless II will run you $3,000.
