If you’re still using a water bottle that grows a science experiment in the bottom every time you forget to wash it, it’s time for an upgrade. The LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 is essentially the Swiss Army knife of hydration. It combines self-cleaning UV-C tech, physical water filtration, and hydration tracking into one sleek, insulated chassis that keeps your water ice-cold for 24 hours.
While the original PureVis used UV-C light to zap bacteria, the Gen 2 adds a Nano Zero filter straw that physically removes the nasty stuff, such as think chlorine, PFAS, and heavy metals. It also features a new hydration tracking cap that syncs with your phone via Bluetooth. If you’re the type who forgets to drink water until you have a headache, the cap actually flashes to remind you to take a sip, then logs your progress in the app.
Design-wise, they’ve fixed the biggest gripes from the first version. You now get a USB-C charging port (no more Micro-USB hunt) and a built-in carry handle. It comes in 23oz and a massive 34oz size for the real water chuggers. It’s a bit of an investment at $129, but considering it replaces both your Brita and your gym bottle—while keeping itself odor-free—it belongs on your 2026 gear list.
