Nikon is celebrating its vintage F series film cameras with a new silver finish for the Nikon Z f, a modern mirrorless camera that looks like a retro classic. The new look is a nod to its iconic film cameras, complete with dedicated switches and dials for quick access to all your settings, creating a tactile and nostalgic shooting experience.
But don’t let the retro looks fool you. At its heart, the Z f has a modern 24.5MP full-frame sensor and is packed with the latest technology. It features subject recognition with 3D tracking to keep fast-moving action in focus, as well as pre-release capture and deep learning tech that can automatically adjust settings.
Other features include a 2-inch vari-angle touchscreen, a wide ISO range, 5-axis image stabilization, and a dedicated black-and-white mode for a true old-school feel. The Nikon Z f in silver will be available in late September.
