NFL coaches have one of the most critical jobs in sports, and their headset is arguably their most important tool. For the upcoming 2025 season, Sony and the NFL have teamed up to custom-develop a brand new Coach’s Headset from scratch, built to meet their exact demands.
More than a headset, it borrows tech directly from Sony’s acclaimed 1000X headphone series. We’re talking noise-canceling specifically tailored for the chaotic sideline, ensuring those crucial play calls cut through the roar of the crowd. The custom-built microphone is engineered to isolate and elevate the coach’s voice, so every word is crystal clear. And because it’s built for the gridiron, it can handle anything Mother Nature throws at it – rain, sleet, snow, extreme heat, and cold. They’ve even extensively drop-tested it to withstand those inevitable “missed call” temper tantrums.
This new headset promises to keep coaches locked in and communicating flawlessly, no matter how intense the game gets. Makes us ready to see (and hear) the action this fall.
