Land Rover’s legendary Defender is getting a solid refresh for the 2026 model year, and they’ve hit that sweet spot between subtle tweaks and significant upgrades. Available across the 90, 110, and 130 body styles, you’ll notice new front and rear lights with a slicker signature and darker tint, plus restyled bumpers in Silicon Silver or Carpathian Grey Satin. They even threw in a fresh textured motif for the hood inserts and side vents, along with a new gloss black grille. Oh, and new 22″ wheel options and colors like Borasco Grey and Woolstone Green are on the menu.
Inside, the cabin keeps its rugged charm, but the central touchscreen now stretches to a much larger 13.1 inches. The gear shifter’s been moved for better ergonomics, and there’s a deeper center console for stashing your gear. If you opt for the Signature Suite, you even get removable side pockets with cable routing – a small but brilliant touch for keeping your tech tidy. But the real off-road game-changer might be the new Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control, which automatically adjusts your speed on challenging terrain. European adventurers can snag one now, while it will be available soon in the US.
