For a lot of us, the treadmill is a necessary evil, but adidas just dropped a shoe that might make those indoor miles a lot more bearable. The new Treadflow is a running shoe built specifically for the treadmill, with a focus on maximizing breathability and cushioning for a more comfortable ride.
The shoe features a CLIMACOOL upper with open mesh zones and even cutouts in the outsole to optimize airflow and keep your feet cool. For the midsole, adidas used a dual-cushioning system that combines layers of Lightstrike and Lightstrike Pro foams to give you the perfect blend of comfort and responsiveness. A LIGHTTRAXION outsole gives you all the grip you need without adding any unnecessary weight.
While a US release has not yet been announced, the shoe is available in the UK now. If you’re a dedicated treadmill runner, this is a piece of gear you’ll want to get your hands on.
