Tired of the endless sea of SUVs? Genesis just threw down the gauntlet with the stunning G90 Wingback concept. Based on their G90 flagship sedan, this is not a crossover—it’s a seriously sporty wagon that’s an immediate threat to the performance kings like the BMW M5 Touring and Audi RS6 Avant.
This car is pure eye candy. Genesis extended the roof, widened the wheel arches, and added aggressive lower fascias with a quad-tipped exhaust. It sits perfectly on gorgeous 22-inch multi-spoke wheels, giving it an epic stance. The Wingback is a direct counter-movement to SUV saturation, and it proves how much cooler a proper wagon can be.
More than just a design study, the G90 Wingback is a fully-functioning prototype. While Genesis hasn’t officially confirmed production, they’ve hinted at a strong possibility for it to be part of their new Magma performance division. Given the rising demand for “hot wagons” in the US, this is the one we’re hoping makes it to the street.
