Mercedes-Benz is diving deeper into electric with a seriously stylish new addition: the CLA Shooting Brake EV. They’re calling it their first fully electric estate, and it’s basically a beefed-up version of the new CLA sedan. Good news for space, as it’s even bigger than the current CLA Shooting Brake, making it a more accessible option than their larger, pricier EVs.
This electric wagon will roll out with both single and dual-motor powertrains. The single-motor variant promises an impressive 473 miles of range (WLTP cycle, so expect slightly less real-world), and its fast-charging tech can add nearly 200 miles in just 15 minutes. Inside, Mercedes is bringing their new MB.OS system to the party, showcased on a massive 14-inch “Superscreen” dashboard, with the option to add another 14-inch display for your passenger. For now, this one is forbidden fruit for those of us in the U.S., but will likely land above $47,000 in Europe.
