Mercedes-Benz just pulled back the curtain on the interior of their new GLC with EQ Technology, and it’s clear they’ve embraced the screen-dominated future. Forget multiple displays; they’ve now merged everything into one gigantic, pillar-to-pillar Hyperscreen that measures an insane 39.1 inches diagonally. This is the biggest display ever installed in a Mercedes, integrating over 1,000 individual LEDs.
While it might sound like a gimmick, Mercedes insists it’s not distracting, allowing users to adjust two sections simultaneously. This mega display is an optional feature, so if you’re not ready to go full digital, cheaper versions will still offer more traditional dashboard real estate. However, it’s undeniable that this screen-centric layout is the focal point, a bold statement on where Mercedes interiors are headed.
Despite the digital dominance, a few essential physical buttons remain on the center console and steering wheel. The rest of the cabin looks suitably upscale, with premium materials like metal vents, speaker grilles, and plenty of leather. This striking interior is making its official debut at the 2025 IAA Mobility Show in Munich.
