Eastwest Architecture has designed what may be the ideal gym for those who want focused workouts at home. Located in east London, the charred cedar lined Garden Studio Gym is compact and tucked into the main home’s garden. The design is intended to invoke the look of a traditional garden shed.
The interior is lined with birch and mirrored walls, lending a modern look and creating the illusion of a larger space. Ample light is comes through a number of openings in both the walls and the ceiling. Yellow track lining helps to brighten the space at night and provide warmth that will lure the homeowners in for exercise. Black rubber flooring provides just enough give to support rigorous workout and muffle sound.
