Secret Compartments for Taillights Add Unconventional Storage

Black Sheet rear light drawer

Electric trucks like the Rivian R1T and Ford Lightning have taken advantage of freed up space to provide innovative storage solutions. Following this trend, Black Sheep, a Swiss company, has created Rear Light Drawers for non-electric trucks, such as the VW Amarok and Toyota Hilux. The drawers are practically invisible when closed, but a secret button can be pressed to extend the drawer, with the taillight either attached to the end or folding away. Both are designed with the original taillight assembly to ensure safety.

We expect drawers like these to become standard equipment in the future, but until then Black Sheep has a creative solution for current trucks.
