You can finally take your Xbox library (and a whole lot more from PC storefronts) on the go with an official Xbox handheld. Microsoft has teamed up with Asus ROG to drop the Ally and the more powerful Ally X, both running Windows 11 and sporting hardware designed to feel like an actual Xbox controller.
Both models pack all the standard Xbox buttons, but the Ally X steps it up with impulse triggers for even better control. The entry-level Ally rocks an AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a crisp 7″ 1080p IPS display. You’ve got two USB-C ports, DisplayPort, a microSD slot, headphone jack, and Wi-Fi 6E, all in a slick white finish. The Ally X is the beast mode version, upgrading to a Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor, 24GB of RAM, a full 1TB of storage, and a souped-up USB4 Type-C port, all wrapped in black.
No word on pricing yet, but both of these portable powerhouses are set to drop later this year. Get ready to game on the go like never before.
