B&O’s Latest Speaker is Something the Masses Can Afford

B&O M3 Speaker

Bang & Olufsen products feature stunning design and equally stunning audio performance. However, products from Copenhagen-based audiophiles are often priced out of reach for most AV enthusiasts.

That’s not the case with the latest speaker, the Beoplay M3. It features a carefully tuned 3.5-inch driver and high-quality soft dome tweeter. The M3s are also future-proof, supporting next year’s release of Apple AirPlay 2. This compact, connected-home speaker includes exchangeable covers so that they can match the room they’re in. Meansureing a modest 11 x 15 x 14cm, and weighing just over three pounds, they’re sure to easily blend into any home setup. And, it’s easy to connect to Beoplay A6, A9, and M5 speakers.

B&O’s M3 speakers also support Bluetooth or Wi-Fi playback using Chromecast, Beolink Multiroom, or QPlay. It’s available in Natural with a fabric cover, or in Black with anodized aluminum cover. Either option will set you back $300. Not bad considering other high-end options in the ever-expanding world of multi-room home audio.
