McIntosh Brings High-Res Audio to your Smartphone

Inside the Portable Decoding Amplifier is a 32-bit digital-to-analog converter for high resolution digital audio formats up to 32-bit/192 kHz resolution. It also supports DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, DXD352.8, and DXD384 music files and works with Android or iOS.

The MHA50 is also incredibly compact, making it easy to use on the go. You can playback high-res tunes via wired or wireless headphones through Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX. Its 3,000 mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 6 hours of playback on a single charge

The McIntosh MHA50 Portable Decoding Amplifier is available this month and is priced at $700.
